Just as a new wave of vitality sweeps over my effort to make new social connections, I am suddenly back in Seattle for a bullshit work meeting...and sadly I have more friends in Seattle than new york. Perhaps the cycle continues...except I like new york.
I briefly considered announcing on social media that I had snuck a gun through their security theatre, in the hopes of getting on the bullshit nofly list, however upon further reflection I realized that my phone is neither encrypted nor backed up so doing so would have been highly inconvenient. Plus I would really want a streaming camera on myself and I'd want to spend some time brainstorming phrases to really get under their skin. "I hope you get shot" is great for cops because that's a real fear they have but I don't think it will mean the same thing to a TSA agent.
Anyway. I don't mind non-holiday travel so much. I think I would be up for a Europe trip if I could find some travel companions.
