I quit today.
I elected to forgo any kind of theatrical event, even thought I had been fantasizing about overreacting to another dumbass ticket and storming out, tossing my badge on the security desk without looking at them.
My manager seemed surprised. Then I was surprised because he said I was vital or something and he was sad to see me go. I seriously wasn't expecting that.
I haven't actually nailed down another job. I'm just excited that I'm free.
In two weeks.
Maybe more...I told him I could be somewhat flexible.

Well...Congrats? Let me know if you need anything. We need to talk at some point about various projects. Now that I am moved in, and you are free, we should do that.
