Blues Dancing

Yeah.  Blues Dancing.  Apparently its a thing.

I've spent years learning salsa and going out to clubs.  Tonight was my first night dancing to blues music.  I managed to arrange a private lesson with one of the cute teacher girls--thats tomorrow--then I ran into some girls I knew from salsa, then I effortlessly got this other girls number and made plans to go salsa dancing the day after tomorrow, and then this random cute girl asked me to dance.  Even better, the girl whose number I got does not have her hair cut super short like a boys.  Yeah, thats an actual problem I have out here.  I don't even want to know why.

I left, partly because I was bored and partly because I was worried my fortune would change, like someone who scores a jackpot on the slot machine.  Not that I would ever play slots--slots are gay.

Oh, also, friday I am checking out a new salsa/bachatta studio and saturday I have plans with Bridget to do something involving an art museum.  So I am basically doing something every night this week.  I don't know how I pulled it off.

The cooking and bartending classes I've found so far are too inconvenient, and there has been no progress in my efforts to secure a nearly-all-female metal band.  On the Lego front, I had a kind of inspiration tonight:  instead of making a book all about castles, I could make a book about normal houses build out of Legos.  I think I have plenty of pieces for that.

And...I'm still thinking about that girl I met at that party in Philly.  Unfortunately I don't own a teleporter.  Or a jet.
