A single research paper has found that my one soda per day scheme may still lead to diabetes.
I've been thinking about how I should cut it down, but I've also been thinking about how delicious a Dr. Pepper tastes with, say, a double entree of ham and steak, every lunch. I was even going to tell myself that if I skipped the Dr. Pepper, I could have a real, non-diet mountain dew in the afternoon. Also sodas with rum in them don't count against the limit.
Now, it looks like I will have to start even cutting that back.
I would like to see research on whether an addiction to /r/fatpeoplestories has any affect on diabetes risk. I would, of course, hypothesize a negative correlation.
