Monty Python's Software Development

The Service Oriented Jackass (SOJ) architecture is a new twist on the classic SOA pattern where the services start acting like your drinking buddies.  Here is a typical SOJ exchange:

Alice:   "please close order 1234"


Bob:   "I can't do that;  Order 5678 is not a valid order."


Alice:  *WTF?!?



*WTF is short for "Exception: received exception: blah blah blah...."  At any given time, there is probably a window open on one of my desktops with one of these visible.
