Carlos Konig Salsa / Ripley Grier Studios - 520 8th Ave, 17th floor...or maybe its the 16th, or maybe both. 5:30pm to 9pm on some sundays.
This place had some creepy security...you have to stand on this doormat and get your picture taken to enter the building. The studio is sort of on both the 16th and 17 floors. Getting to the social was rather involved. We took a party of 3 into a serpentine maze of unusually placed elevator banks and locked stairways, and thankfully made it to the social, where there were like 4 people in the room. So I left and went to Chipotle.
Might try another one tonight..there is definitely some kind of scene, and/or community here.

DanceSport / Las Chicas Locas is pretty good, and they have a bar. Unfortunately after spending 4 months learning on2, I'm still accidentally dancing on1. Maybe I'm just going to have to wait and take group classes.
