Pay by the pound, or by the brick?

I have finally found my competition, although I'm having trouble finding exact figures.  I am kind of annoyed someone already figured out how to make a Lego roller coaster; that was going to me one of the awesome attractions of my city.  I suppose I'll just have to make one with loops, or that is suspended, or something similar.  Oh, wait, this link provides a good picture.  That really doesn't look like much.  Ok, the table is 22' x 95'.  Thats about 2090 square feet.

So its called the Lego Millyard Project.  I am impressed with some of their architecture...mostly that bridge.

I'm hearing $5 - $7 per pound, and roughly 150 pieces per pound.  I need to get a scale and measure what i'm buying to be certain, though.  I'm starting to think that 1 or 2 cents per brick is a good price.
